Family Apartments

Lovely apartments in the heart of Florence. Walking distance to almost everything. Museums, shopping area, restaurants, groceries store and many more. We really enjoyed our stay with Family Apartment.

Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Florence. The women at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the tower apartment which was just awesome! Super cool and extremely well done interior.

We stayed at Uffizi 2 apartment for 8 nights and by the end of our stay we felt right at home! A few pros and cons of this property but overall would recommend it! -tip: this apartment states on the website it's on the 3rd floor but to all North Americans it is the 4th floor. (Europeans call ground level 0 whereas in North America it is 1st floor therefore you can see the confusion)be ready for 3 flights of stairs!!(about 62? if I recall-give or take??) -the apartment is literally attached to the Uffizi and Palazzo Vecchio's Loggia is at the end of the street which is perfect to navigate around the city- you can't get any more central -the apartment is way more spacious than a hotel but for 5 adults with large luggage there wasn't much area to put luggage (we made it work!) -having 2 bathrooms was a major bonus!!! (unfortunately, one the toilets were broken but the staff was on it right away and got it fixed in 3 days(it was a weekend and most people are off) The other bathroom the door didn't lock but no big deal. -the staff was accommodating to all our needs...the hair dryer and iron didn't work and within 1/2 hour one of the staff brought us new ones. Also, they called us a taxi on the last day when we checked out. -having a washing machine in the communal hall was perfect! managed to do laundry before moving on to our next destination. The communal hall also had extra towels, pillows, games for kids.... -the kitchen was fully functional and was great to prep breakfast for those mornings when we exhausted from the day before and wanted to sleep in -wi-fi was in and out for the first few days but a tech was brought in and then all was well - the unit was very clean-sheets, bathrooms Overall it was lovely- my only critique to Family Apartments is to stay on top of the little things than need maintenance before people check in. Do a check and make sure everything is in order before guests arrive. With that aside, I would definitely choose Family Apartments again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Location was wonderful and the apartment and space very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the main bath smelled of sewage constantly and the other bath did not have.a shower curtain that fit and the floor would get soaked. In addition, the tv was hard to work (could not get Netflix) and could not get it to switch to English. Not having screens on windows is problematic when mosquitos are in season!

For check-in, we were able to get into the apartment early, which was very helpful. The office location made it simple to pick up the keys and get into the unit. The apartment was as expected in terms of space and rooms (it was a nice apartment unit and there was plenty of space in the living room), but there were a lot of complications with the apartment amenities. When we arrived the elevator wasn't working, the wifi wasn't working, and the A/C wasn't working. Even once the A/C was fixed, they were not efficient A/C units and the apartment was extremely hot the entire stay. We had to sleep with the windows open every night, which led to noisy nights. For the wifi, it took me calling multiple times and over a day for the issue to be resolved. On the shampoo that was promised, it was simply hand-soap, and there was an issue with the hot water where we had to actually reset the water. There was only one blow-dryer in the apartment, that had to be used with a particular outlet in the laundry room, and there was also an american-outlet hair dryer. Apart from the apartment, the location was ideal and very central. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and it's a quick walk to any place in the city that you want to go.

I loved my stay at Family appartement. They are very professional, the rooms are equipped with everything you need, very clean ,moreover the location is perfect . I am looking forward to visit again Firenze in October ❤️ and of course to stay at Family appartement.

Such a cosy place! It took a while for the guy to come with the keys, but he was super friendly. I went back with him to the office to check out luggage storage options, and I got a city map and personal recommendations from the staff on what to do and where to eat. The apartment interiors are simply beautiful, done as they are in retro style. Once again, all appliances were in place, and there was a safe too. The bathroom had an exhaust that came in with the light. Would have loved to stay here longer.

The room looks nothing like what’s on the pictures. There is no view of the city and many things are lacking. Edit: Staff was very considerate and tried to solve our problem. As they couldn’t solve the main problem, they offered us a free dinner at a well known local restaurant before giving us a new room.
