β β β β β The apartment was just what I needed for an extended stay. The owner lived next door and was helpful if I needed anything. The apartment was well-equipped, spacious and quiet. The outside patio made for a quiet place to relax and read. Plenty of storage for clothing, a small, but good washing machine. AC works fine, but an open window keeps the place comfortable.
Shopping is convenient with three grocery stores within a short walk and a laundromat right around the corner.
Much of my communication with the office was handled by Sonja, who was always friendly and helpful. Since I plan to return, they were able to send links to additional apartments and even met me at one to show it.
The restaurant below is fantastic. Authentic Tuscan cuisine with friendly service and street side dining.
I would consider Fiore Apartment again on a future visit to Florence.

β β β β β We encountered numerous safety, sanitation, and service issues during our stay in July of 2019 that completely ruined our experience. When we first arrived on a Saturday evening Max from Apartments Florence met us to check us in. During this process we signed a contract that stated that at the end of our visit they would calculate our utilities cost. We asked why him several different ways why this is done and confirmed that we are not on the hook for paying these costs. Max explained that Airbnb pays the utilities and that the guests do not pay. We asked him again - "do we pay Airbnb and then they pay the utilities? He said no, it is only between the host and Airbnb." Ultimately we found that the guest is indeed on the hook for the utilities cost in this property. Consider this when booking especially in hot summer months as it increased the total cost of our stay by over 12%.
Once we started to settle in and unpack we noticed that the entire apartment was filthy. The rugs were covered in layers of debris, hair, dirt, etc. all over the floors and rugs, the bedding (blankets and sheets) were covered in blood and hair, the couch had large stains, the walls were terribly scuffed, the upstairs windows leading out to the terrace were damaged and cracked, there were leaves, dirt, and little black hairs all over the bathroom floors, there was a wall covered with mosquitos in the master bedroom bathroom, and so on. Immediately we contacted Apartments Florence to ask that they send someone out to clean, but they said they couldn't send anyone until the following day. We had to sleep with just a single sheet covering the bed the first night and no blankets. We also notice that many of the furniture items are different than what are shown in the pictures or in very bad condition.
The next night the WiFi goes out (it had been spotty in and out since our arrival), the AC still isn't making an impact upstairs, which has made for an uncomfortable 2 days, and there is a water leak in the laundry room. Upon discovering the water leak, I immediately reach out to Apartments Florence, but they do not respond.At this point I am panicking because I don't know what to do and am worried about damage to the property. Unfortunately, it was a Sunday night so nobody was working and nobody responded to our request until the next day (Day 3). Now it is Monday morning and we are growing tired of all the issues with this property. I submit a ticket to Airbnb asking for help, which prompts Apartments Florence to respond. They send a manager out to the property and he confirms the issues that we've raised including the fact that the furniture is missing and some items need to be replaced. He says "I agree with all of your concerns and we are on the same page... I am sorry we did not get it right the first time". He also agrees to replace the soiled rugs and to send someone over to address the insect issues, water leakage (replace a part that keeps the water level and prevents water from overflowing the tank), and re-paint.... the place looks so bad they have to REPAINT it while we are there.
We were in Florence on vacation and we were frustrated by all the interruptions and the fact that we had service people (contractors, painters, cleaning crew) in and out of what is supposed to be our vacation home for 72 hours. I'm not saying that Apartments Florence didn't try to remedy the situation by cleaning, re-painting, etc., but for the first several days the apartment was unclean and unsightly and it was not the experience one expects when they're paying top dollar to spend a week in Florence on vacation in "premium" apartment. Worse than that we also spent many hours on the phone with Airbnb/Apartments Florence and sending emails, texts, WhatsApp messages, etc. to provide documentation, which was time we could have spent exploring the wonderful things Florence has to offer. I hope that Apartments Florence, the Host, and Airbnb take all of this into consideration moving forward so that guests can have a better experience.

β β β β β Great service and accommodations provided by apartmentsflorence made them our go-to next time weβre in Florence.
Weβve received nothing but prompt communication and helpful staff before and during our stay.
Just to give you an idea that things werenβt typical:
We reserved our apartment months in advance for August: spacious (2 bathrooms) in the center of the city with partial view of Santa Maria del Fiore. Unfortunately, the owners decided to move back in just 1.5 months before our stay. Apartments Florence contacted us right away offering a few options that were comparable but higher in price, notifying that they will match the price paid for the other apartment.
Then, Lufthansa lost our baggage and we had to stay filling out applications in peretola airport - hence our check-in time moved 2.5 - 3 hours from scheduled. With limited WiFi (as we didnβt have any cell service yet) we were able to easily contact AF via WhatsApp and reschedule our check-in multiple times.
The check-in procedure was fast, simple and clear. The apartment was just as described.
Our baggage was delayed for 4 days. While traveling to other cities, we asked Apartment Florence.It to be the receiving end for our baggage while we were away. They notified us as soon as they got the bag and stored it in their facility, locked behind the door.
Our departing flight from Florence was very early in the morning, so they accommodated us with a prior checkout procedure that took place the evening before.
The prices are very competitive and apartment choices are great. I do prefer the rental agency to handle all the implications that might arise during traveling, rather than an Airbnb individual. Though they do service some Airbnbs for ppl.

β β β β β I went to Florence because of a friend's wedding, the stay in the Apartment (managed by apartmentsflorence.it) was a very nice and pleasant experience. I loved the location - the street was situated in the very centre and at the same time in a calm area, the apartment was nice and well cleaned, can definitely recommend it.

If you are willing to loose money rent here. Just breathing in the apartment will cost you 1000 euros of your deposit fee.
They will charge you for everything!!!
Our vacuum cleaner was broken when we arrived we asked for a new one and got charged a 155 euros for it. There was something broken in my shower for we arrived and I got charged for it as well. You have to pay for a cleaning fee of 180 euros and another extra cleaning fee of 150 euros. All your money will be gone.
Oh and they will charge you for lightbulbs!! Worth 80 euros.
A little piece of plastic in our fridge was broken, 50 euros charged. For the time it costs to buy it?
In the end they created a total loss of 1000 euros with vague charges upon us, things we did not break. I was living here for 9 months, 2 girls, nothing crazy.

β β β β β apartment was as shown in photos, very clean. we loved the multiple roof-top patios! great location, easy to walk to everything. there are approx 80+ stairs to climb to reach the apt, but the views are lovely! being next to the central market offers lots of food options if you don't want to venture far. Beds were comfortable, linens were plentiful. We found the wifi really only worked well if you were on the stairs or had the room right off the stairs, it was very weak in the master bedroom or up in the living room area (bedrooms are on the first floor, kitchen and living room are up stairs). Sleeping for six was great, the kitchen and living area wasn't as spacious for six, but honestly this wasn't a big deal b/c we were typically out touring around Florence - mentioning it just in case you were making meals for 6 and wanted to sit around the kitchen table. there's patio furniture on both levels, this is a fantastic apt and we would stay here again!

β β β β β Great service and amazing apartment in the heart of Florence with an elevator. The apartment I stayed was huge, lots of natural lights, safe and had everything me and my family needed. Check in and check out was easy and flexible. Apartment Florence Srl has their own app for all necessary info before check in and after check out information. Staff was so helpful, kind and reachable. I forgot my phone in the apartment after check out. They send it back to me from Florence to Bangkok without complication. Highly recommended.

β β β β β My wife and I had a long stay in an apartment offered by Apartments Florence. The staff was always prompt and helpful. I would suggest that you request recent photos of property. Our experience was that the nice photos do not show some of the current wear and tear conditions.
