Rented a car from this facility about a year ago, returned it to Rome. They sent me a bill about 4 months later claiming the car had damage. This company is very dishonest. I would not recommend them at all.

Beware they do not accept discover credit cards and make no mention of that on the website. We could not change the name of the renter either and were left stranded in Napoli. The only reason this is three stars is the euro car in sorrento we’re much more helpful. I had to learn how to drive stick shift though !

Tried to return a car at 8pm but was told that they are closed despite the office being open and manned. They consider 7.30 to 9.30pm out of hours and they direct you to return it at a nearby garage for a cost of 15 euro or drive it to the airport. Service was abrupt.

Check for scratches before you take the car. If you park the car at eurpcar stella hotel parking, make a video when leaving. Make a video when picking up. The lady at reception was friendly. Also. The fuel gauge did not work! It did not move even after 300 kilometers. They try to scam you for fuel. We booked a smart car they gave us a Renault instead. Its a very risky thing to rent car from them

Pleasure doing business with you. These guys are great if you have everything they need at your disposal. You need: credit card, driving licence, printout of your booking and if you do a europcar ID this saves even more time! The man who originally took me to the car spoke broken English but the lady I dealt with soon after spoke perfect English and was so helpful. I ordered a SWAR, kinda hoped for a VW Passat estate but instead got a new Citroen C4 spacetourer. What a lovely car! Only 3000km on the clock. Not a single scratch on it. It was massive for sorrento but I managed. My only gripe is a common one for this place, it only had 7/8ths of a tank of diesel. I told the lady in the office and she marked on the contract how much was there. She tried to tell us that the cars sensor was rubbish but this was not true because I filled it up for trip back from sorrento and the tank showed full! Weird that ;) Return was simple, took 2 mins and left very happy. Note, to get to this office you can access direct from train station or from the main road. I’d recommend buying through autoeurope.com and take out the no deduction insurance.

TRAVELERS BEWARE*** DO YOUR RESEARCH*** RENT FROM A REPUTABLE COMPANY !! Europcar in Naples are crooks. They charged us for a minor scratch that was already on the disappointing rental car. They have LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE - they’re absolutely rude. If you don’t buy their insurance, they’ll charge you. We bought insurance from a third party (Orbitz) and they still found a way to charge us! On top of that, someone at the Naples location has fraudulently charged our credit card. I’m spreading the word : GO RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Never again will we do business with Europcar. They don’t even deserve a one star.

I was extremely skeptical about renting from this company based on the horrible reviews but this is my experience from October 2019 at the Naples location: I rented a brand new Fiat 500 for 3 days. It was at a cheap cost, the process was super easy, and I waited maybe 5-10min for the actual car. The returning of the car was super easy and we were provided with a shuttle ride back to the main part of the airport. I’d use Europcar again!

Unfortunatly after renting car for 12 days we were late with the return for 50 minutes and the was only because apparently we rented a car 50 minutes earlier (11:07) in the first place as we booked it online (12:00) so we should bring it back also 50 minutes earlier. We did not realized it until we have returned the car on time as we thought (12:00). The lady from the staff indicated on contract where it was written. We were charged 75 euro for additional day. Apparantly the rules are on her side and we take it as a lesson to read the contract even more closly (which I thought I did after reading those bad comments), but seriously it was unpleasent feeling that after renting a car for 12 days they did make us pay for another full day and did not even want to hear our reasons. 50 minutes, 75 EUR.
