Ogni anno l'associazione culturale Serra Alta organizza una giornata con escursione e celebrazione della messa, di solito la domenica dopo il 24 giugno(San Giovanni).
L'eremo e' raggiungibile solo a piedi con 1 ora è 20minuti lasciando la propria auto nella frazione di Case Alfonsi o Case Pistola proseguendo per un primo pezzo su una carraia e poi su un piccolo sentiero mulattiera.
