Peccato che le stanze visitabili sono solo 3 prevalentemente destinate a sale per banchetti da parte del ristorante Il Castello. Externally the castle is very well kept and is located in the middle of the Abruzzo-Lazio Apennines, on a hill from where you can enjoy a wonderful view. Too bad that the rooms are only visited 3 mainly intended to banquet halls as part of the restaurant Castle.

Abbiamo colto così l'occasione per visitare la vicina grotta di Sant'Angelo. Quella perlomeno non è privata.. No chance to visit it, the locals asked for information are very evasive, we were left with a bitter mouth. We thus took the opportunity to visit the nearby cave of Sant'Angelo. At least that is not private ..

Menu composto da antipasto molto semplice, con addirittura il formaggio a fette delle colazione d'albergo... Primo piatto ragù e zucchine, e secondo un misto di carne riscaldata non cotta al momento.... Il tutto per 50€.... Diciamo merita mangiare li per l'ambientazione, ma per il menu meglio sorvolare..... Con un menu un po più ricercato sicuramente sarebbe stato tutto perfetto! Spectacular location, very impressive even if the castle can only be visited in part. We have lunch at the castle, not knowing that there is only a fixed menu. Menu consisting of a very simple appetizer, with even the sliced cheese of the hotel breakfast ... First course with meat sauce and zucchini, and second course a mixture of heated meat not cooked at the moment ... All for € 50 ... Let's say it deserves to eat there for the setting, but for the menu it is better to overlook ..... With a slightly more sophisticated menu, it would have been perfect!
E	Edita Nemethova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful castle, best place for a beautiful wedding. They have around 20 rooms for private hire in case you want to have a wedding here. But would suit to any ceremony. Our friends had a wedding here last year so they brought us to see this magical place. We were very lucky to get in as the property is private and I am very grateful for the private tour. Amazing staff, magical place, little wonderland in the heart of the mountains.
