★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella cappella di Santa Maria della Ritornata, un tempo completamente affrescata, solo gli affreschi della zona absidale sono abbastanza integri. Sulla sinistra, nei pressi dell'ingresso, si può notare una statua in legno che rappresenta San Barnaba. Il nome del santuario è legato all'icona della Madonna. Il motivo del " ritorno " dell'immagine sacra è molto comune nelle leggende di fondazione dei santuari e ne giustifica la costruzione stessa.
In the chapel of Santa Maria della Ritornata, once completely frescoed, only the frescoes in the apsidal area are quite intact. On the left, near the entrance, you can see a wooden statue representing San Barnaba. The name of the sanctuary is linked to the icon of the Madonna. The reason for the "return" of the sacred image is very common in the legends of the foundation of sanctuaries and justifies the construction itself.
