Qui ho i ricordi più belli della mia infanzia, quando con le mie amiche dopo pranzo per rifocillarci dopo una giornata di scuola, ci sedevamo sul muretto, sotto gli alberi e trascorrevamo ore e tornavamo a casa solo dopo ii vari solleciti dei nostri genitori! Qui ci raccontavamo il nostro vissuto, i nostri segreti, scherzavamo, giocavamo e ridevamo a crepapelle! Come rimpiango quegli anni di spensieratezza! Non c'erano molte macchine e quindi sfruttavamo il luogo per giocare anche a pallavolo senza essere disturbate! Che bei ricordi! Ora le cose sono molto cambiate! Lì c'era anche l'ospedale San Benedetto con delle camerate che ospitavano anche 20 pazienti per camera! Ma nonostante ciò era tutto molto funzionale! Tutti venivano curati con pochissimo personale medico e paramedico che svolgeva il lavoro con turni estenuanti, ma nonostante tutto erano sempre lì pronti a donare un sorriso ed a curare le ferite di tutti! Ora l'ospedale non è più lì si è trasferito nel 1987 e purtroppo la struttura è fatiscente, ma io spero di cuore che qualcuno si ricordi di questo posto e di coloro che hanno dato tutto per aiutare il prossimo ed è giusto che il loro sforzo non venga vanificato, ma venga riqualificato! Here I have the best memories of my childhood, when with my friends after lunch to refresh ourselves after a day of school, we sat on the wall, under the trees and spent hours and returned home only after the various reminders of our parents! Here we told each other our experiences, our secrets, joked, played and laughed out loud! How I regret those carefree years! There weren't many cars so we used the place to play volleyball without being disturbed! What good memories! Now things have changed a lot! There was also the San Benedetto hospital with dormitories that also housed 20 patients per room! But despite this it was all very functional! All were treated with very few medical and paramedical staff who carried out the work with grueling shifts, but despite everything they were always there ready to give a smile and heal everyone's wounds! Now the hospital is no longer there it moved in 1987 and unfortunately the structure is dilapidated, but I sincerely hope that someone remembers this place and those who gave everything to help others and it is right that their effort not be nullified, but be redeveloped!

Sui lati c'è un corridoio ciclopico per l'antica difesa della città. Interessante allineamento del sole nel giorno dell'equinozio, dove al tramonto si allineamento perfettamente con l'asse del corridoio di uscita. Bellissima città da visitare, una delle più importanti testimonianze delle costruzioni poligonali in Italia. C'è un progetto di riqualificazione per quel tratto di mura. One of the 5 main gates of Alatri. The dolmen roof has unfortunately disappeared over the years, leaving a Roman arch. On the sides there is a gigantic corridor for the ancient defense of the city. Interesting alignment of the sun on the day of the equinox, where at sunset it aligns perfectly with the axis of the exit corridor. Beautiful city to visit, one of the most important examples of polygonal constructions in Italy. There is a redevelopment project for that section of the wall.
