★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Borgo abbandonato e dimenticato da decenni. Si raggiunge tramite una strada sterrata percorribile soltanto a piedi o tramite motocross. Poche case diroccate, con suppellettili dimenticate, e invase dalla vegetazione, che oramai si sta riappropriando di quest'area. Alcune case hanno le antiche porte di legno aperte, da cui si può osservare l'antica architettura. Merita una visita da appassionati e curiosi di borghi medievali fantasma.
Village abandoned and forgotten for decades. It can be reached via a dirt road that can only be reached on foot or by motocross. A few dilapidated houses, with forgotten furnishings, and invaded by vegetation, which is now taking back this area. Some houses have the old wooden doors open, from which the ancient architecture can be observed. Worth a visit by fans and curious of ghost medieval villages.

Facile accesso sulla strada che collega arpino a casalvieri ma senza indicazioni. Accesso libero su strada sterrata che scende direttamente nel centro del borgo. Attualmente la vegetazione ricopre gran parte dei ruderi. Cmq suggestivo. Da visitare e rispettare

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Weg lohnt sich, Montecoccioli ist ein sehr spiritueller Ort, an dem man sich in die Vergangenheit versetzen kann. Die Menschen müssen hier sehr arm gewesen sein, nur Ziegen und Oliven. Leider ist alles sehr zugewachsen, wenige Häuser noch nicht eingestürzt.
It's worth the walk, Montecoccioli is a very spiritual place where you can step back in time. The people must have been very poor here, only goats and olives. Unfortunately everything is very overgrown, a few houses have not yet collapsed.
