But I usually have good luck in Rome and Oberdan was no exception. I had my hair styled by Enrico, who was a real Pro! The atmosphere was low key as most genuinely Roman places are. These guys are very relaxed but very professional. Although it is right, smack -dab on the Spanish Steps it is not patronized by tourists. I had some Roman friends who told me about it. And I don't think these folks had seen an non-Italian in here since the days of Barbarella, but no matter, they treated me like a regular. I had a color, with highlights a cut and style for 150 Euro. That was about what I was willing to pay. But in that neighborhood I was a little worried it could be twice that! Thankfully, it wasn't. This place is a real find--and a real keeper!
