Historic palace in Venice. I strongly recommend the visit, it is an incredible piece of art, full of surprises. The full visit (stopping to read in each room the history of the room) will take 1 h 30, so pay attention to plan carefully your time. I suggest booking your time slot (in case it is crowded).

At first, I had no interest in this attraction. Its strange how a sheer hatred of (something as simple as) the rain can alter the entire day. I spent hours in this palace. I felt like I was in the presence of GODS. Gods... GODS. *cough* Ahem. Anyway, yeah go visit this place for the purely amazing artwork on display and inner atmosphere constantly reminding you how much of a peasant you always will be. It's a great place. God like artwork is everywhere, seen at every angle, and the museum of weaponry is also a great way to test your Assassin's Creed II knowledge (if you have any). Yes, Ezio did stab that guy with the funny helmet. I really love this place. The complete contrast between the riches of the gallery rooms and the prisons is an experience you won't experience often. Never have I seen such a difference in wealth 43 steps apart. Its like my Minecraft world. This review kinda went off the rails, but what I'm saying is that you should definitely visit hear and get a "skip the line" ticket to avoid waiting in lines as long as an hour. I didn't think much of it at first, but it became one of my favourite locations to visit in Venice.

It's a very nice place to visit in Venice that I clearly recommend. We stayed in a looong line for about 1h and a half but it was worth it. The palace is well maintained and well organized for visiting. The price is not too steep considering the size of the palace.

Great historical place to visit. Definitely recommend to take an audio guide, although i found it really annoying that they charge separately as the entrance fee is not exactly cheap. Should be included already. Especially if you buy the tickets online as a reward for pre purchase. There is a lot of interesting information in brief recordings, so at least you get a quick overview of what is happening in each room.

This place hardly needs a review. It’s one of the greatest examples of Venetian grandeur. Room after room you will see stunning architecture, weapons and works of art. With the added bonus of crossing over the bridge of sighs and touring the prison. Pay close attention and you will see Giacomo Casanovas cell. Bring your comfy shoes. This place is huge and involves a good amount of stairs.

Exquisite ceiling work ?!! they’ve preserved the state of the prisons which is incredible…The finesse of the paintings are just? we were lucky to visit during the night hours as it was open till 10pm on this particular day and I feel the lighting added a different charm to the art work.. I however feel that the place can be better maintained for the price they charge for entry. Having said that, it’s definitely a must visit when visiting Venice !!

Amazing place. Extremely well preserved paintings (though some were replaced by copies, the originals taken to the Louvre...), impressive interiors, some interesting collections of Venetian armour, and temporary exhibitions. Also, the prison part of the Palace is well worth a visit in itself, with its Bridge of Sighs, of course. The visit would take at least two hours.

It’s worth visiting it especially with a guided tour as there is so much history gathered in this stunning Palace! Majestic and numerous chambers, magnificent paintings, including the biggest painting in Europe - ‘Paradise’ located in the Chamber of the Great Council, golden ceilings - these are only some of the treasures you will see during your visit! We visited also the prison and saw the Bridge of Sighs.
