★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You definitely pay for the decor at this place. Sort of a tourist trap... My swordfish tasted like ammonia, maybe a bit off? More like shark than swordfish. My husband's pesto was bland and awfully over priced. There's just so much good food around, I dont know what happened here....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice friendly family run with sea view from some tables but food & service underwhelming. We chose the tasting menu with high expectations & enjoyed some of the 5 main dishes but the polpo salad was chewy & the two pasta courses were so ‘al dente’ they were almost inedible with very little flavour. However the antipasti & fish course were very good. Service was painfully slow at times & other guests seemingly of the same opinion. There are better places to eat fresh fish in Panerea.

View is outstanding, food is the perfect mix between Mediterranean simplicity and Italian sophistication - with incredible taste and quality - and you get a cosy atmosphere with live jazz music as a bonus. Also, service is there. In short, simple and very very good with rational prices (you can dream you can find Italian good this good at this price in the US).
