★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many say that Panarea is the most beautiful island. I do not feel that way. The port of Panarea is somewhat overrated and is very flooded with stores and people who think they are better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The buoys are really close to the water front and the wonderful homonimous village. The crew help you in the docking and even undocking if you need it. They provide a 24 h water taxi service from the boat to the shore. Prices are on the average of the other eolian islands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this island whilst on a boat tour of stromboli. The island does not have a cash machine (ATM) so take cash. I got lunch from a supermarket. They make fresh sandwiches and the staff were friendly. We walked 20 minutes to the rocks and spent our docking time in the cool water. A picturesque island.
