★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked an English speaking tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel for 8:15 a.m. We specifically booked that tour as we were aware that the line to enter Saint Peter’s after the tour becomes significant later in the day so finishing the tour as scheduled would allow for an easier transition. When we arrived, we were told that despite our tickets, which were clearly marked 8:15, that our tour was not until 9:45 a.m. This obviously altered our day significantly. Additionally, when we arrived, the tour guide did not have our tickets, which further delayed the tour by almost 30 minutes. Ultimately, our booked 8:15 a.m. tour did not begin until 10:15-10:20 a.m. Upon completion, the line to enter St. Peter’s was exactly what we were hoping to avoid by our early booking. The only thing saving this from a one star review is the tour guide himself who was incredibly personable and knowledgeable during the tour. Generally a very poor experience with logistics and timing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I originally booked the tour for the Colosseum, Roman forum and palatine hill with a group of about 20 people. Three days before I got a call to ask if I would like to go onto the VIP tour that only had 10 people in it, as there was space. Which now I am delighted I did! Our tour guide was Maya, she was fantastic and full of knowledge and information. She really made you use your imagination to travel back in time. The tour started at 2pm and lasted roughly 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Absolutely Brilliant tour and tour guide. Thanks Maya from your Irish friends ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today we had an amazing tour at the Colosseum. Our tourguide was Lia, she was able to make a 3 hours tour so interesting! Normally my focus would have been long gone after 30 minutes, but she was funny and knew so many facts and details. It was so cool and we learned so much! Thanks again Lia & Crown tours for the amazing tour!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic tour by Magda. She was enthusiastic and very informative. She made history come alive and we learnt so much. I would highly recommend the colosseum, Paletine hill and Roman forum tour. It was great value and we all feel we understand this part of the city and it’s historical significance so much better

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on a Colossuem, Palatine Hill and Roman forum tour.
Our guide was Nick/Nikkola and he was excellent! He gave information that was relevant and interesting (other tour guides tell you how many bricks used to make something, whereas Nick was telling us the stories and reasoning)
We booked a small group tour and was only 6 people, which we liked.
I also appreciated how well organised everything was.

Group was small, meeting point clear, and our guide Magda was absolutely amazing the way she provided us with all the info and stories made it extra special and interesting! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went on a guided tour of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Palatine. My tour guide was Lumi and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. I came out of the tour feeling like I had learned a lot of history and facts about ancient Rome and its culture.

Marcello was a very good guide, a bit late but he went overtime to make up for it. Our group had quite a few kids and he made sure to engage with them to make it a memorable experience for them. He shared lots of interesting info about the Colosseum and the Forum with a good bit of humor added to it. The start location was easy to find.
