Tiring the climb about 90 minutes of good walking bristling at times with chains but when you get to the top the show is rewarding

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why would you not hike up San Martino? Is there a single better use of a Sunday than to scramble up the lovely path from the Castello neighborhood for a little picnic and a thermos of coffee at the peak? If there is, I'm not sure I want to know about it.
