★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Punto molto panoramico, da cui lo sguardo abbraccia gran parte del lago di Como. A me personalmente la croce sommitale non piace proprio ... al di la del pieno rispetto per il simbolo ,... ne ho viste di molto più graziose anche tra quelle pure più economiche ;-)
Si sale o con un paio di erti sentieri nel bosco, veramente abbastanza impervii, o tramite la ferrata "Gruppo Alpini Corno Medale" , ovviamente solo per esperti ferratisti (tra l'altro non è delle più facili).
scenic location, from which the gaze embraces most of Lake Como. To me personally the summit cross did not like it ... to the full respect for the symbol, ... I've seen pretty much even among those as well cheaper ;-)
You climb or with a couple of steep paths in the woods, really quite inaccessible, or via the "Gruppo Alpini Corno Medale" via ferrata, obviously only for expert ferratists (among other things it is not the easiest).

Not too difficult via ferrata (not to be underestimated anyway) with excellent view both during the ascent and upon arrival

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partenza da Laorca. Parcheggio presso via Pacinotti. Sentiero impegnativo EE. Breve tratto con catene, molto ripido fino alla fine.
Grandi pareti tutto attorno. Ambiente selvaggio. La ferrata, al momento è chiusa. Bel paesaggio su Lecco, lago di Como e Valsassina
Departure from Laorca. Parking at via Pacinotti. Challenging trail EE. Short section with chains, very steep to the end.
Big walls all around. Wild environment. The via ferrata is currently closed. Beautiful landscape on Lecco, Como lake and Valsassina

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of hiking paths less travelled by. A nice view to the Lecco town and Lake Como, even though not better than San Martino Cross. But the hiking is more difficult and fun to reach Corno Medale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mountain next to San Martino... The hiking to corno Medale is a bit difficult compared to San Martino and the view from top is almost similar. Recommended for people who loves adventure. The presence of rock makes it difficult to hike than San Martino.
