★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo tratto, completa finalmente il Sentiero del Viandante, che risale ad oriente tutta la costa lariana.
È una nuova traccia di circa 7 chilometri, inaugurata nel maggio 2021.
Parte dalle Caviate di Lecco, e percorrendo a mezza costa il versante del monte San Martino, raggiunge l'omonima chiesa medioevale ad Abbadia Lariana. Da qui il sentiero prosegue poi per l'alto lago.
Un grosso lavoro è stato fatto per tracciarlo, dato che prima era pressoché inesistente. Corre tra reti paramassi e saliscendi a picco sulla ferrovia o sulla superstrada che corre più in basso. Nella parte finale è stata posata una scala in ferro atta a superare una galleria stradale. Nel suo complesso non è una traccia agevolissima e occorrono calzature adatte al terreno anche impervio.
 This stretch finally completes the Sentiero del Viandante, which goes up the entire Larian coast to the east.
It is a new track of about 7 kilometers, inaugurated in May 2021.
It starts from Caviate di Lecco, and along the slope of Mount San Martino halfway up, it reaches the medieval church of the same name in Abbadia Lariana. From here the path then continues to the upper lake.
A lot of work has been done to trace it, as it was almost non-existent before. It runs between rockfall nets and ups and downs overlooking the railway or the freeway that runs further down. In the final part, an iron staircase was laid to overcome a road tunnel. As a whole it is not a very easy track and you need footwear suitable for even the rough terrain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finalmente è possibile congiungere Lecco ad Abbadia Lariana, grazie a questi pochi Km. Ora il sentiero del Viandante è affrontabile in qualsiasi stagione (meglio in giornate di sole). Eseguibile in diverse tappe, il sentiero passa su terreni misti tra le montagne e i paesi (vicino alle stazioni ferroviarie). Innumerevoli agriturismi e aree picnic lungo il percorso. Ve lo consiglio!! Attrezzatevi con scarponi/scarpe comode per la camminata in montagna.
Finally it is possible to connect Lecco to Abbadia Lariana, thanks to these few kilometers. Now the path of the Wayfarer can be tackled in any season (better on sunny days). Executable in several stages, the trail passes on mixed terrain between the mountains and the villages (near the railway stations). Countless farmhouses and picnic areas along the way. I recommend it !! Equip yourself with comfortable boots / shoes for walking in the mountains.
