e	elisa rielli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Natura incantevole. Peccato per l'inevoluzione e l'ignoranza dei cacciatori, si sentivano gli spari anche vicino alle zone da passeggio. Non si può stare tranquilli a godersi la natura, senza la paura di essere impallinati. Siamo nel 2021, la caccia dovrebbe essere vietata, soprattutto in zone così strategiche dal punto di vista turistico. Ma questi sono gli Italiani! Enchanting nature. Too bad for the involution and ignorance of the hunters, the shots were heard even near the walking areas. You cannot rest assured enjoying nature, without the fear of being shot. We are in 2021, hunting should be banned, especially in such strategic areas from a tourist point of view. But these are the Italians!

Weit und breit ausgewaschener Lößlehmboden, riesige Felder, stark erodiertes verkarstetes unwegsames Gelände dazwischen - ab dem Sommer hat das was von Mondlandschaft - in seiner Kargheit faszinierend. Vom Kamm der Leonina aus hat man über die anderen Bergkämme hinweg einen schönen Blick zum etwa 12 km (Luftlinie) entfernten Siena. Hier gibt es keine Straße, nur eine geschotterte Piste. Unique! Far and wide washed-out loess loam soil, huge fields, heavily eroded karst, impassable terrain in between - from the summer on it has something of a lunar landscape - fascinating in its barreness. From the ridge of the Leonina you have a beautiful view over the other mountain ridges to Siena, about 12 km (as the crow flies). There is no road here, just a gravel track.

It is a delight .. I recommend a visit between May and June because it is the best time to admire the colors

F	Francesca Bernardini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sì lascia la macchina in un piccolo posteggio vicino alla strada e si percorre un breve tratto in salita (l'unica salita un po'più impegnativa) Dopo il castello di Leonina il tratto è in leggera salita e da subito molto gradevole. Da evitare in estate, negli orari troppo caldo perché il percorso è molto assolato. È possibile fare un percorso ad anello prendendo delle strade di campo (2) che si trovano a sx , salendo verso il sito transitorio, una prima ed una subito dopo. Yes, leave the car in a small parking lot near the road and take a short uphill stretch (the only climb a bit more challenging) After the Leonina castle the stretch is slightly uphill and immediately very pleasant. To be avoided in summer, when it is too hot because the route is very sunny. It is possible to make a circular route by taking the field roads (2) which are on the left, going up towards the transitory site, one before and one immediately after.
