La chiesa risale al X secolo e sorge sulle rovine di un edificio medioevale. La facciata è a capanna . Due pilastri con capitello distinque la navata centrale da quelle laterali. Annesso alla chiesa vi è il cimitero che per secoli ha accolto i defunti che si occupavano della parocchia.Questo è cicondato da un muro basso su cui vi è un a finestrella sotto la quale vi è una lapide divisa da unatesta umana. La lunetta del portale ripropone il motivo dell'agnello.Il campanile è situato al lato destroco finestre bifere e monofore. A sinistra è situata lla cappelladi S. Gregorio con accesso al pesbiterio. La visita a questa chiesa è consigliata .È piccola ma la più antica di Campobasso.Luogosuggestivo situato ai piedi del Castello Monfrte. Chiesa spoglia ma caratteristica. Nonostante il restauro si vedono ancora degli affreschi.L'esterno è tutto in pietra.Luogo adatto per ritrovare la pace. Si consiglia di andarla a visitare. The church of S.
