M	Matthew Arnold on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally incompetent. Was given the wrong form by the receptionist which was told after 2.5 hours had to fill out another one. Waited another 2.5 hours before my temp passport was approved. The whole time my girlfriend was waiting outside and they would not let her in because she had our suitcase. Meanwhile they were laughing and joking in the back. Absolutely no urgency for the people waiting for their travel papers. Typical US government employees, they should all be replaced.

Not only they are better than Rome who has no organization and/or respect for people applying causing delays of 4-5 hours, but they are efficient and fast in doing what is their job. I am satisfied, I had an appointment at 8:15, I entered at 8:20 and I was out after 20 minutes. Can't complain.

The lady just asked me to fill out a form online and did not even know the website where the form could be found. She was at the outside door and would not even be bothered to go in and check for the website. This can’t be the first time that somebody has reported stolen items but it appeared that this was the case for her. Disappointing!

Each member of the staff I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they resolved my issue much more quickly than I would have expected. 5 stars for sure!
J	Julie Huang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their website said “Replacing your lost or stolen passport is easy, and no appointment is necessary” and they are not exaggerating!!! I had my passport stolen in Milan and was on the train to Florence by the time I realized it. Luckily the staff at the consulate in Florence are very polite and efficient. I arrived around 11:30 and they were able to give me my replacement (emergency) passport the same day, even staying open an extra 20 minutes to finish processing my application. Their helpful attitude and good sense of humor made the whole situation less stressful. Note: the consulate does not have a photo booth so you will have to get them beforehand somewhere else and you WILL be overcharged!!! Overall very good experience. Nice consulate, highly recommend!!!
S	Stanley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needed to replace passport. Everyone inside was super friendly. Got me sorted in 5 minutes. I was in and out very quickly. Bring passport photos with you otherwise you'll have to come back again. Remember to write a valid e-mail address down! They had some last minute system issues that required me to postpone my follow-up appointment, and they contacted me to let me know via e-mail.

Also now I need to issue a 10 year passport and my pictures was the incorrect ones they email me and let me know,I was in contact with them via email and they have been very helpful. Thank you so much for the good service to myself.
