Sperlinga significa infatti grotta e una moltitudine di queste è ancora perfettamente conservata.
The municipality of Sperlinga develops around the famous castle, entirely dug into the rock and, taking a walk through the village, you can still see the caves, now cellars, where people lived until the last century. Indeed Sperlinga means cave and a multitude of these is still perfectly preserved.
