★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived from the direction of Catania and the road is so-so. Nice place with a nice atmosphere. It is definitely worth to enter the castle (ticket eur 5).If you are with kids keep an eye on them, some parts of the castle don't have handrails or railing. There is a quiet large parking lot right under the castle. Opening hours are updated only on Facebook.
Watch out for tourist traps!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing discovery in the Center of Sicily. So much history here.-cave homes, the Norman castle where the Sicilian (French) Vespers hid out and made their last desperate stand in the 1200's, WW2 Allied route. Don't miss this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small castle with a nice view. The village is very quiet: I guess the cafe front of the castle is the only place to eat something.
It's also in the cage you will buy the ticket to enter in the castle.
