m	mirella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono andata a fare una gita lì ed è meraviglioso stare in mezzo a quel verde con tanta tranquillità , silenzio e tanto tempo per pensare , vedere il panorama e respirare quell'aria di serenità dove non pensare a nulla . It should be a historic and well-kept place, unfortunately it is in a state of "almost abandoned", the ruins are not at all cared for, and the paths full of thorns and brushwood, sometimes cleaned up by young local volunteers.

Inoltre dal lato opposto si possono ammirare i Nebrodi. Rimane veramente poco dell'antico castello: parti delle mura diroccate e ruderi delle torri. L'arco della porta d'ingresso è invece ancora intatto. Merita una visita se siete in zona, anche perché si presta a delle belle foto. Le tre stelle sono dovute all'incuria e alla sporcizia presente nell'area. I gradini che portano alla parte più elevata hanno delle tavole rotte o comunque molto deteriorate. Fate attenzione se andate con dei bambini Characteristic. There is a beautiful panoramic view over the town of Nicosia, as it is the highest point. Also from the opposite side you can admire the Nebrodi. Very little remains of the ancient castle: parts of the ruined walls and ruins of the towers. The arch of the entrance door is still intact. Worth a visit if you are in the area, also because it lends itself to beautiful photos. The three stars are due to the neglect and dirt present in the area. The steps leading to the highest part have broken or in any case very deteriorated tables. Be careful if you go with children
