A partire dalla bella piazza centrale si possono fare meravigliose passeggiate verso le parti alte del paese dallle quali si vedono bellissimi panorami. Ad esempio, si può salire verso la basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore e i resti del castello, o verso la chiesa SS. Salvatore. Le stradine del paese sono molto gradevoli. Consiglio davvero di visitare Nicosia, magari facendo una spedizione anche nei bei paesi che ci sono nei dintorni, ad esempio Sperlinga, Agira, Cerami e Troina.
