 A charming little town, one of the most beautiful in Puglia. . Pleasant atmosphere, quiet streets, old white and admirable buildings, interesting shops, hospitable world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Località stupenda! Peccato per la sporcizia e i rifiuti abbandonati nelle zone circostanti e nel centro stesso della città. In vacanza con la mia famiglia, abbiamo accuratamente differenziato i rifiuti, purtroppo nessuno è mai venuto a ritirare la spazzatura nei giorni prestabiliti. Da persone civili, abbiamo perso tempo e ore di svago per cercare cassonetti introvabili, quando siamo riusciti ad individuare il luogo preposto per la raccolta differenziata,abbiamo trovato cassonetti stracolmi e inutilizzabili.Cercando di non sporcare ulteriormente, abbiamo lasciato i sacchi davanti ai raccoglitori idonei e per questo ci è arrivata una multa di 180 euro. Ho protestato con la polizia locale e con l'amministrazione comunale, senza trovare riscontro. Peccato...città splendida,ma con soglie di degrado decisamente alte!
Stunning location! Too bad for the dirt and waste abandoned in the surrounding areas and in the very center of the city. On vacation with my family, we carefully separated waste, unfortunately no one ever came to collect the garbage on the appointed days. As civilized people, we wasted time and hours of leisure looking for unobtainable bins, when we managed to identify the place in charge of separate collection, we found overflowing and unusable bins Trying not to dirty further, we left the bags in front of the suitable bins and for this we got a fine of 180 euros. I protested with the local police and with the municipal administration, without finding a response. Too bad ... a splendid city, but with very high thresholds of degradation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the town hall you will find a helpful, friendly and efficeint service, I must say a special thank you to Angela D'Adamo who has always been increadably professional and amazingly helpful. The online email and digital services work really well. As a town it is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palazzo Municipale (Town Hall of Ostuni) was originally an ancient Franciscan convent built in 1304. In 1864 the façade was redesigned in neoclassic style and the convent was enlarged and transformed into the Town Hall.
