★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben eine optimale Auskunft über die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel Richtung Bahnhof erhalten und man hat uns mit einer Karte ausgestattet, die die wichtigsten Monumente der Stadt beinhaltet, was die Erkundung erleichtert hat.
Very helpful and accommodating. We received the best information about public transport in the direction of the railway station and were provided with a map containing the most important monuments of the city, which made the exploration easier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono entrato per chiedere informazioni sulla citta e zone limitrofe, il signore che mi ha accolto mi ha illustrato un paio di cose dandomi varie mappe di paesi vicini. Al momento di ringraziare mi ha “chiesto” un’OFFERTA.... alche ho detto, mi spiace non ho nulla con me, viaggiando mi fa comodo usare la carta. Lui storcendo il naso mi guarda, allora dico al signore che domani in mattinata durante la mia visita alla città sarei passato con del contante, mi ha guardato male, ho lasciato il materiale sul banco salutato e me ne sono andato.
CONSIGLIO vivamente l’amministrazione comunale, per evitare questo tipo di figuracce con turisti italiani ed internazionali di evitare questo genere di situazione vergognose e imbarazzanti per la città.
Aspetto una risposta a questo commento da chi si occupa di questa struttura che mi giustifichi questo tipo di comportamento.
I went in to ask for information about the city and surrounding areas, the gentleman who welcomed me explained a couple of things to me by giving me various maps of neighboring countries. At the moment of thanking, he "asked" me for an OFFER .... to which I said, I'm sorry I have nothing with me, while traveling it makes me convenient to use the card. He wrinkles his nose and looks at me, then I tell the gentleman that tomorrow morning during my visit to the city I would have come with some cash, he looked at me badly, I left the material on the counter and I left.
I strongly RECOMMEND the city administration, to avoid this kind of foolishness with Italian and international tourists to avoid this kind of shameful and embarrassing situation for the city.
I await a response to this comment from those in charge of this structure that justify this type of behavior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggi sono andata a chiedere una mappa di Ostuni, e non avendo il borsellino con me, non me l'hanno data perché non gli ho lasciato una mancia!! È una vergogna per Ostuni! Ma il Comune conosce questo modo di fare dei sui impiegati???aspetto una risposta per questo trattamento che hanno riservato a me e chissà a quanti altri turisti!
Today I went to ask for a map of Ostuni, and not having my purse with me, they didn't give it to me because I didn't leave them a tip !! It is a shame for Ostuni! But does the Municipality know this way of doing its employees ??? I am waiting for an answer for this treatment that they have reserved for me and who knows how many other tourists!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleine, aber feine Touristeninformation, in der uns sofort bereitwillig geholfen wurde. Wir kamen abends spontan und ohne Stadtplan an, wollten unsere Gastgeber an einer bestimmten Kirche treffen. Die freundliche Mitarbeiterin hat uns sofort die Adresse herausgesucht und uns auf dem Stadtplan genau aufgezeichnet, wie wir am besten dorthin kommen. Wir haben es auch ohne Probleme geschafft - Danke nochmals auf diesem Weg für die freundliche und ausführliche Hilfe :)
Small but nice tourist information office, where we were immediately and willingly helped. We arrived spontaneously in the evening and without a map, wanted to meet our hosts at a certain church. The friendly staff member immediately found us the address and recorded the best way to get there on the map. We made it without any problems - thanks again for the friendly and detailed help :)
