Good and professional seller, precise and punctual at organizing a shipping to the UK right after Brexit. Keep the good stuff up! Edit: 6 months after my purchase I have been chase by DHL for non - paid UK Vat, totally another £65. Therefore I paid the VAT twice, once in Italy and once in the UK. Ciccimarra shop should have sold me the watch without VAT, as you should do when you sell goods outside the common EU market. Unfortunately this impacts my opinion on the seller now, who does not seem equipped or knowledgeable enough to trade outside Italy.

If you value basic human decency I recommend you find somewhere else to shop. Almost two years ago I moved to Cisternino from the US and have always felt very welcomed. Since my husband and I live in town, on a daily basis we are in shops and have received exceptionally kind service, even by name. On Saturday morning I went into Ciccimarra to purchase some jewelry for myself and to start looking for options for Christmas presents for family and friends back in the US. A friend had recently recommended them when I commented on a pair of earrings she purchased for a mutual friend for her birthday. There were three employees. Two were helping customers. I was the only other customer in the shop. I knew I wanted to look at the many bracelet options and stood by the counter patiently waiting my turn. After about 10 minutes another woman walked in and was waiting next to me. Since arriving, not one person had greeted me, or even made eye contact with me. No acknowledgement at all. When one of the employees finished he gestured to the woman who was behind me and started helping her. They both had to literally walk right by me when they walked over to another counter. Still no acknowledgement. I stood there in disbelief at how rude and badly I was being treated. It was like I was invisible and as you can imagine, horribly embarrassing. I was the only person still waiting. No other customers had entered. When I walked up and asked about being helped and kindly explained that I had now been waiting for approximately 15 minutes and was here well before the other customer they still made no effort to improve the situation. I knew I should be angry about being ignored and dismissed but what I felt was profound sadness. Cisternino has become my home and for two years we have felt so welcomed. I walked out with tears in my eyes. No one should be treated the way I was treated by the employees at Ciccimarra Gioielli.
