★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible food, wine and atmosphere. Best meal we had in all of Italy and miles better than other local restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone I knew going within a 2 hour radius!
If you are looking for local wines the restaurant has a wine store attached with a great selection. 10/10!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best dinners we had during our stay in Italy. The quaint little town of Cisternino and the excellent food/wine choices at this establishment were perfect (pasta was phenomenal!). Definitely recommend if in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice little restaurant which is also a wine and spirit store offering a fantastic selection of quality local wines and liqueurs.
Visited in a group of 8 people, the restaurant is small, but has a great atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly and our host had a good knowledge of the dishes on the menu.
All the food was very tasty, I had a pasta with a wild boar sauce which was absolutely excellent. Everyone in the party seemed to have something different and everyone was happy with their food. I must give special mention to the cheesecake which was served in a deep glass bowl, it was scrumptious.
After dinner we were able to explore the wine shop and benefit from the knowledge of the owner.
The owner could speak some English and there were menus in English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cisternino's only winebar - that is also a great restaurant! Excellent wines from Puglia (primitivo, negroamaro etc) and from many other regions. Don't miss out on combining the wine with their "tagliere" - selection of local salami and cheese.

The tartar from the 1st dish was just raw meat, not even salted.. Don't know, maybe that's how it should be done but I didn't like it.
The mains were also really good.
I asked for recommendation for wine and the waiter got exactly what I wanted! So delicious.
They also have a wine shop. Really nice and Manny options.
