We were disappointed, the tapas were OK but then we waited over an hour for our main dish, which had nothing special, it was barely average. They didn't even make a commercial gesture to make up for the very long wait. We recommend La Galleria, close to the Cathedral, instead.

CiCala mesmerize me, Filippo & Germana (the owners) are delicious. They have a lot of fantastic wines because Filippo is also the sommelier and they make an amazing pizza and Sicilian food.

Food was great, we loved the caponata and the squid ink pasta. They took us into the wine cellar to pick out a bottle, very informative and fun to learn about the differences of the natural Sicilian wines they had in their inventory. We had a great night here!

Incredible recommendation! Fantastic service and food that beat all expectation. Was so pleased we ordered too much that we could have it again the next day!

I was pretty excited to try out this place but it was very disappointing. The tapas were tasty but then we waited 45 minutes to get our mains (2 pasta dishes). The mains were mad overpriced, €16 for an average pasta that was neither worth the money nor the wait. The staff didn’t acknowledged or apologised for the very long wait. They have tapas half price on Wed-Sun evening so I’d only go to try that, but I wouldn’t bother to go there for a full meal.

Great wine selection, the Italian tapas are very delicious and not expensive at all.

Friendly staff, very good food. Fun tapas, deep fried lasagna! Makes a Scott proud to see deep frying taking off around the world!

So yummy! I really enjoyed their tapas and wish I would’ve ordered more of those and split a pasta dish instead. I didn’t think I’d be eating fried lasagna in Sicily (you’d think the U.S. haha), but it was delicious and not too heavy. The pasta dishes were really good sizes. The restaurant is somewhat small and was busy. I’m glad we made a reservation.
