Very beautiful church, we went there accidentally by going to the Pantheon. And it was a great decision! Inside you will find a true majesty of golden beauty: the ceilings are incredible. And what’s more: there are paintings by Caravaggio. Must-see! ?

This baroque church is a must see for lovers of Caravaggio, featuring a series of three paintings about the life of St Matthew.

This place is amazing! It's free to enter and has some amazing paintings that could be in a large museum. I'm only posting one picture in the hopes that you'll take the time to visit. Stop by between the Pantheon and Navona. You won't regret it!

It was very worthy to visit. Caravaggio paintings are at the left-hand side, the end of the church. Because of the number of tourists, it is hard to spend enjoying the paintings for more than a few minutes. Even though it is very beautiful here and free of charge!

Three Caravaggio paintings in one church , where else do you have that ? These most amazing masterpieces can be seen every day, but beware of lunchtime when the church is closed. For 1 euro, the light goes on and illuminates the paintings, which are otherwise in the dark.

A personal favorite out of all the churches and places I've gone on this Italy trip. The ceiling is beautiful. The numerous altars lining the inner walls are fantastic. This church will get very popular during peak hours so please remember to remain quiet out of respect. People were asked to be silent numerous times on our stay over the loudspeaker which was very disrupting.

Nice paintings from Caravaggio in this almost hidden church on the way to the Pantheon. Personally, I dislike this concept of "Pay per view" in which someone needs to pay some money for the paintings to be illuminated. Really? I would imagine the church has more than enough money to not ask for this.

A beautiful Baroque church filled with Caravaggio's works. Breathtaking and the way his paintings are mounted add even more to the drama of his paintings. A must see! It is a bit crowded, especially among his more famous works, but definitely worth braving the crowds.
