β β β β β It is a calm, peacefull, historical, and spiritual place, with impressive paintings, at the heart of Bologna. It is located behind the two towers (the main traditional symbol of the city), and worth to visit. Also, I suggest to go up the towers stairs (next to the church), and enjoy the city wide view!

β β β β β Absolutely stunning church. Just saw the door ? by accident and thought I might as well step in.
The entrance is for free and the whole style of the church is one of a kind. Definitely give it a try even if you donβt like churches or religion at all. ?

β β β β β Absolutely stunning Renaissance church located in the centre of Bologna near to Due Torri. The ceiling of the central nave has a Vision of San Gaetano. Here you can also find little patios where you can sit and enjoy the silence the beautiful architecture, the church is beautiful but my only recommendation would be wearing something less revealing (covering your knees and and shoulders) so you could enjoy this beautiful architecture, otherwise you will not be let inside of the church.

β β β β β Church of Saints Bartholomew and Cajetan is a Renaissance church that was built in the early sixteenth century on top of a much older church. Many of the ceiling and wall paintings were added much later in the second half of the seventeenth century. What is surprising about its interior is the contrast between gilded dark columns and the much lighter colored ceiling.
