★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool market. There are lots of little shops to eat at. Also has a nice bathroom that is free about midway through down the stairs. Cost is pretty good. A kilo of tortelloni with mortadella and pecorino was like 20€ which is cheaper than street. But also the pasta place is from coop the grocery store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It might call itself a market, but Mercato di Mezzo would be better described as a food court. There are several stalls inside this small space offering a variety of ready-made foods. You can take your food away or sit at one of the tables on 2 levels.

This is more of a market to eat than shop for food but definetly worth it to try things out if the other restuarants in the streets are full. There is a delicious pasta place at the entrance, there you can try the local lasagna, tagliatelle bologna, and tortellini. There is a fish place that serves fried calamaris and many other yummy stuff. You will also find a salami place with parma ham, sausages and cheese. There are several places serving beer and cocktails. The pasta place has several aperol and campari cocktails for 5e. There is also a place serving several beers including IPA, as well as bars serving local wine. In case down is too full get a place upstairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a quick and easy lunch when you have no other plans, this is a perfect stop. My kid wanted pizza, I wanted wine and pasta, my husband wanted craft beer: all was easily accessible from one table. Later we stopped by the butcher in the market and picked up a deboned rabbit stuffed with sausage and potato and wrapped in bacon to roast for dinner. Delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love it! It‘s such a cute and authentic little Italian market. You can buy everything from pasta, coffee, pastries etc. They serve super delicious and freshly made pasta. And I must say, even though the pasta is served on a paper plate it was undeniably one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had in my entire life! And the stuff is very friendly too!
