★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When God 'makes' a Saint, that saint is always a gift to the Church and world. Santa Maria Maggiore, also known as the Santuario della Spogliazione (where Francis stripped himself of his clothes before his father and the Bishop of Assisi, symbolically representing leaving behind his paternal inheritance), houses the body of the young Blessed Carlo Acutis. Anyone who wants to be edified by a life fully and lovingly lived in only a15 year span should come to know this young saint, so normal and so exceptional at the same time! I pray that young people especially will make of Bl Carlo their heavenly friend. Have a blessed visit to this special church! ✝️??️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning Catholic Church that beautifully honors Our Mother Mary. I was unable to attend any of the religious services here but was so happy to have the doors open to all visitors. This city of peace has many beautiful places where Our Father in heaven is honored.
