Chiesa bellissima, molto di più di tantissime altre chiese ben più pubblicizzate Randomly found, we decided to go in and we weren't disappointed at all. C	Carmela Papappicco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel 1772, la Confraternita di San Francesco da Paola, intraprese i lavori della Chiesa, i quali, furono completati nel 1791.Ma, in seguito ai numerosi fedeli che la visitavano giornalmente, fu poi ampliata, con la realizzazione di quattro Cappelle, sotto le grandi arcate della Navata. Si sono aggiunte così, sugli altari minori, le meravigliose statue lignee di San Michele; di Maria SS. Addolorata; di Maria SS. Immacolata, e la preziosa tela di Santa Teresa d' Avila. Nel 1892, la Chiesa, fu arricchita da indoratura. E, negli anni successivi, furono realizzati in tempera, nel cappellone, alcuni miracoli compiuti dal Santo come: Egli che edifica monasteri; che fa scaturire acqua con un bastone dalla roccia; che guarisce gli ammalati, e il passaggio dallo Stretto di Messina. Questa Chiesa, d'una bellezza incomparabile, conserva pure reliquie di Santa Teresa d'Avila! E, va visitata con autentico entusiasmo quando la si trovi aperta ai fedeli! In 1772, the Confraternity of San Francesco da Paola, undertook the works of the Church, which were completed in 1791. But, following the numerous faithful who visited it daily, it was later enlarged, with the construction of four chapels, under the large arches of the Nave. Thus the wonderful wooden statues of Saint Michael were added to the minor altars; of Maria SS. Sorrows; of Maria SS. Immaculate, and the precious painting of Saint Teresa of Avila. In 1892, the Church was enriched by gilding. And, in the following years, some miracles performed by the Saint were made in tempera, in the chapel, such as: He who builds monasteries; that makes water flow with a stick from the rock; that heals the sick, and the passage from the Strait of Messina. This Church, of incomparable beauty, also preserves relics of Saint Teresa of Avila! And, it must be visited with genuine enthusiasm when it is open to the faithful!
