★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Architetto Scamozzi poi un po' di barocco ud una cupola affrescata vale la visita per un crocefisso ligneo e per abside e sacrestia.
 Architect Scamozzi then a little baroque after a frescoed dome is worth the visit for a wooden crucifix and for the apse and sacristy.

Piccolo gioiello pieno di capolavori architettonici, scultorei e affreschi.
Non riesci a smettere di girarti attorno e come ti concentri su un opera, immediatamente un altra attira la tua attenzione.
Imperdibile come la cappella degli scrovegni.
Small church almost invisible in the historic center of Padua.
Small jewel full of architectural, sculptural and fresco masterpieces.
You can't stop turning around and how you focus on one work, immediately another draws your attention.
Unmissable as the scrovegni chapel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa di origine medievale,in via Altinate, adiacente al Centro Culturale Altinate / San Gaetano. Una meraviglia, i volontari che la custodiscono sono molto gentili ed accoglienti. In essa è custodita un'opera di Palma il Giovane...Bellissima,vale la pena entrare a visitarla, non si paga il biglietto!
Church of medieval origin, in via Altinate, adjacent to the Altinate / San Gaetano Cultural Center. A marvel, the volunteers who look after it are very kind and welcoming. In it there is a work by Palma il Giovane ... Beautiful, it is worth entering and visiting it, you don't pay for the ticket!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Gaetano viene aperta quasi tutti i giorni da un piccolo gruppo di volontari.
La signora che ci ha accompagnato nella visita di oggi è stata di una gentilezza e una preparazione rare, permettendoci di apprezzare ancora di più la bellezza e la storia di questo luogo.
The church of San Gaetano is opened almost every day by a small group of volunteers.
The lady who accompanied us on today's visit was of a rare kindness and preparation, allowing us to appreciate even more the beauty and history of this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una chiesa su Via Altinate che dall'esterno sembra come tutte le altre ma entrando si è avvolti da un tripudio di colori e immagini. Di pianta quadrata/ottagonale è riccamente decorata di marmi policromi, statue e dipinti. Di origine medioevale è stata ristrutturata nei secoli fino al periodo barocco come possiamo vederlo oggi. Ben conservata
It is a church on Via Altinate that from the outside looks like all the others but upon entering you are enveloped by a riot of colors and images. It has a square / octagonal plan and is richly decorated with polychrome marbles, statues and paintings. Of medieval origin, it has been renovated over the centuries up to the Baroque period as we can see it today. Well preserved

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful small church - underrated gem! We accidentally stumbled upon it 5 mins before closing time and they were kind enough to let us in to have a look regardless. The dome ceiling is gorgeous.
