★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piazza Garibaldi is located at the very entrance to the historic center of Padua, and where the pedestrian center starts. Several bus routes pass through it and it houses one of the very few Taxi stops in town. It is one block from the streetcar stop and surrounded by classical buildings, many of which have been converted into high-end shops and restaurants and cafes. On the East side, there are two restaurants with outdoor tables where you can enjoy a good lunch, or a good coffee stop. There is also an ice cream parlor, and several stores. The West side houses fashion houses and stores. The South side continues as via VIII Febraio, while the North side becomes Corso Garibaldi. From here, a short walk will take you to the Eremitani or to the Scrovegni chapel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In this piazza there is a church. I saw it in some reviews that this church is another point of interest. It's free to come inside. but do not make any noise or disturbance because this church is active (not a museum). I'm sorry I couldn't remember the name of the church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at the heart of town. Just at the entry into the historic center of Padova. People. Buses. Gelato. Clothings. Bar. Pub. Tourist...everything in one place. There are benches to sit and watch pulsating atmosphere unravel. I like it there!
