La biblioteca in sé è ben fornita sia di libri che di media multimediali, l'accesso è consentito solo ai tesserati e l'accesso, almeno fino a due anni fa, non è consentito ai minori di 16 anni. Se dovete studiare provate a fare un salto qui, se vi piace il silenzio non c'è posto migliore a Padova! Attenzione a venire presto però perché i posti sono pochi ed è quasi sempre al completo, soprattutto nel periodo degli esami. Forse un po' freddini al bar, nel senso che il servizio è un po' distaccato, anche il dare il resto l'ho trovato molto meccanico e con la sola voglia di fare ciò che si deve fare... ma del resto è solo un contorno... La cosa più importante sono gli spazi per lo studio. Davvero molto numerose le postazioni disponibili, con una buona illuminazione, di giorno tanta luce naturale grazie alle pareti di vetro che danno sul "chiostro" centrale. Grandissima quantità di libri, riviste, cd, dvd, giornali. Ben fornita. The study environment is very pleasant. Ho scoperto con un grande dispiacere che in questa bellissima e grande biblioteca bagnata di luce naturale, non è permessa l'entrata dei cani, o meglio, è permessa solo ai cani di piccola taglia. Oltre che trovarsi davanti ad una specie di discriminazione dell'umano conformista, ci si trova davanti ad un sistema del pensiero arretrato ed ermetico. Questo piccolo episodio mi ha ricordato quanto Padova e Italia sono ancora indietro nel tempo. Aggiungo ancora che non esiste nessun tipo di avviso o cartellino di divieto di ingresso ai cani. Tornerò una volta cambiate le regole. not dog friendly.
