★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place. They propose various original dishes and pudings, the few I tasted were delicious. Great value for money ! On top of that, the atmosphere was good and the service was great. Probably the best meal of my 12 days trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got this recommendation from friends that live in SG and then we saw it was in our Rick Steves 2019 book as well. Well let me tell you it did not disappoint, it was AMAZING. Yes it’s a tiny tiny place but i think that makes it all the more cozy and special and the food is delicious...our 3 dishes were delicious but the truffle/gorgonzola pasta was to die for, truly spectacular, a must for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I visit San Gimignano I eat here. First time 2005. For me it is still the best restaurant in town. Authentic Italian and local cuisine. Homemade pasta. Perfect Osso buco. Good house wine. Very outstanding Patrone (Chef). An original. The restaurant is rather small. If you have to wait the Patrone let sit you at the stairs with complimentary drink. Here you meet the locals for dinner. Here you get the feeling to be a member of the family not a tourist. Good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so nice, specially if you think they are one of the most touristic places of Italy.
The cook/ owner is a really nice and truly appreciates it if you like the food, the waiter also very nice.
The osso bucco i had was really fantastic, with a very nice note of lemon peel, falling apart from the bone.
Staying here for 3 nights, definitly going back tomorrow!
One of the best dishes i had in Italy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly great food for low price. The host was very welcoming. He is funny and really nice. The lasagna was outstanding and the rabbit meat was good. Don’t expect to much when you order vegetables. The portion is really small. But overall I would recommend this place.
