★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posizionata proprio di fronte alla Chiesa di San Quirico é una delle più belle e grandi del paese. È datata 1262. Vi era annesso il Convento dei Francescani, che oggi è diventato sede di residenze private. Purtroppo era chiuso e non ho visto gli interni, ma so che sono bellissimi.
Come tutte le chiese francescane all'esterno appaiono serie, sobrie e umili, ma all'interno il senso di religiosità e misticismo sono veramente profondi. Come la figura del santo cui sono dedicate.
Motivo in più per tornare a Serra San Quirico!!
 Located right in front of the Church of San Quirico, it is one of the most beautiful and largest in the town. It is dated 1262. The Franciscan Convent was annexed to it, which today has become the seat of private residences. Unfortunately it was closed and I have not seen the interior, but I know it is beautiful.
Like all Franciscan churches on the outside they appear serious, sober and humble, but on the inside the sense of religiosity and mysticism are truly profound. Like the figure of the saint to whom they are dedicated.
One more reason to return to Serra San Quirico !!
