All'interno del Monastero clausura di Santa Maria Maddalena, può sembrare piccolo ma quando metti le cuffie dell'audioguida il tempo si sospende ed inizia un viaggio nella vita monacale. Un'esperienza che val bene una visita. Set in the beautiful village, a little hidden but the directions are precise. Inside the monastery of Santa Maria Maddalena, it may seem small, but when you put on the headphones of the audio guide, time is suspended and a journey into the monastic life begins. An experience that is worth a visit.

La mostra inizia con una serie di oggetti a cui delle voci registrate danno vita raccontando episodi di vita monastica. Si può decidere di ascoltare oppure proseguire oltre. Sono presenti sia oggetti di uso quotidiano (piatti, bottiglie,...) sia oggetti per il lavoro (quelle antiche abilità manuali che animavano e sostenevano i monasteri). Accanto all'oggettistica ci sono alcuni barcode con contenuti aggiuntivi, un video, un ascolto e alcune "cose che si possono fare" (purtroppo a causa del covid non è al momento possibile toccarle) che rendono la visita più coinvolgente. Un museo davvero curato. It is part of those small "museums - treasures" scattered in the villages of Italy. The staff are really nice and helpful. The exhibition begins with a series of objects to which recorded voices give life by recounting episodes of monastic life. You can decide to listen or continue further. There are both everyday objects (plates, bottles, ...) and objects for work (those ancient manual skills that animated and supported the monasteries). Next to the objects there are some barcodes with additional contents, a video, a listening and some "things that can be done" (unfortunately, due to the covid it is not possible to touch them at the moment) that make the visit more engaging. A really neat museum.

Si entra vivamente nella vita delle monache, attraverso la parte teatrale si sentono le loro voci e le loro storie. E si compie quel salto temporale che permette di comprendere in pieno un'epoca storica. Il museo è ricchissimo di strumenti di lavoro e lavori svolti, di vasellame e di utensili, di stoffe e ricami. Mi è piaciuto particolarmente il settore cucina, con attrezzi belli da vedere, sopratutto le rotelle per tagliare la pasta fatta a mano e gli stampi con lo stemma per il pane. Bellissimi i ricami a tombolo e le stoffe, lavorate con il telaio, presente in più versioni. Molto particolare l'armadio a cassetti. Ben chiari e utili i pannelli informativi pieni di notizie curiose. La ragazza che accoglie i visitatori é di una cortesia speciale, unica! È un museo da visitare e da gustare con calma, alla scoperta di una dimensione prettamente femminile. I have visited various monasteries and museums but this one is really special! You enter vividly into the life of the nuns, through the theatrical part you can hear their voices and their stories. And that leap in time is made that allows us to fully understand a historical era. The museum is full of tools and work done, of pottery and tools, of fabrics and embroidery. I particularly liked the kitchen sector, with beautiful tools to look at, especially the wheels to cut the handmade pasta and the molds with the emblem for the bread. Beautiful bobbin embroideries and fabrics, worked with the loom, present in several versions. Very particular the wardrobe with drawers. The information panels full of curious news are very clear and useful. The girl who welcomes visitors is of a special, unique courtesy! It is a museum to visit and enjoy calmly, to discover a purely feminine dimension.
