★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durante i lavori di restauro di questa piccola chiesa è venuta alla luce una parte di un ninfeo appartenente ad una domus romana, con la porzione semicircolare di una vasca e di una pavimentazione con decorazione geometrica a doppia banda bianca su fondo nero. Questi reperti sono visibili attraverso una pavimentazione trasparente.
Il motivo maggiore di interesse, a mio avviso, è il mosaico di Marko Ivan Rupnik, artista e teologo sloveno, autore del logo del Giubileo della Misericordia, che rappresenta Martino mentre dona il suo mantello a un povero.
Per informazioni sulla vistita qualche anno fa ci si poteva rivolgere alla parrocchia di San Pietro Apostolo, in piazza Duomo. Non so se l'indicazione è ancora valida.

 During the restoration of this small church, a part of a nymphaeum belonging to a Roman domus came to light, with the semicircular portion of a tank and a pavement with geometric decoration with a double white band on a black background. These finds are visible through a transparent pavement.
The main reason for interest, in my opinion, is the mosaic by Marko Ivan Rupnik, Slovenian artist and theologian, author of the Jubilee of Mercy logo, who represents Martino while giving his cloak to a poor man.
For information on the visit a few years ago, you could contact the parish of San Pietro Apostolo, in Piazza Duomo. I don't know if the indication is still valid.
