La chiesa della Santissima Annunziata, di sicuro costruita a partire dal 1° gennaio del 1386, utilizzando parte delle pietre del teatro romano, è uno degli edifici religiosi di stile barocco più interessanti da un punto di vista sia artistico che religioso di Venafro e del Molise, oltre che sede dell'omonima confraternita. La chiesa con il suo alto campanile è posta nella parte alta della città, ai piedi del Castello Pandone.
