There is much to say how much Venice venerates her, but nothing to say that the reason she is here is that they demolished her old church to build the line to the railway station... Free, photos allowed if not using a flash.

Nevertheless it lacks the special character and the masterpieces that we find in almost any church in Venice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of many interesting place to visit in Venice. Lots of shop and stalls selling from souvenir to food in front of it. It at the main walkway path in Venice. Little advice be careful with your belongings that you carry while walking in crowded because they are pick pocket talking advantage over the tourist. My back nearly been open by pick pocket from behind. Overall it a great place must visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Catholic Church situated in Venice along grand canal, a historical and beautiful structure, you can visit during canal tour by water bus, you can avail a full day ticket of water bus and to see many sightseeing points by bus through pick and drop facility, it will be a wonderful experience of photography.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there today. And were a bit late but a lovely lady let us in. We saw Santa Lucia and paid our respects. It's a stunning church,but sadly hidden by scaffolding due to renovation. We only found out about it after an amazing Italian gentleman who touched our hearts told us about it. We are grateful he did,and when we visit Venice again will visit again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a wounderful experience to meet the creator of the exhibition of the diaramas of the life of Jesus. Even if you are not into religion, the art and the details are really great. It is definitiv worth a visit and it is free! Of course it would be nice to give some credit. Some of the diaramas are moving or have running water! This man is really an astonishing artist! Francesco Bonvissuto!
