All'esterno l'edificio è circondato da un portico, che lo circonda su cinque lati. Gli archi sono retti da colonne a piede rialzato ed eleganti capitelli bizantini. L'interno è a croce greca, a tre navate con absidi. Il tutto è sovrastato da cupola circolare, mentre i motivi decorativi risentono dell'influenza bizantina d'età comnena.
The building took on its present appearance around the 12th century [2], when it was rebuilt to house the relics of the martyrs Fosca and Maura, who came from Sabratha, in Africa.
Outside the building is surrounded by a portico, which surrounds it on five sides. The arches are supported by raised foot columns and elegant Byzantine capitals. The interior is a Greek cross, with three naves with apses. The whole is dominated by a circular dome, while the decorative motifs are influenced by the Byzantine influence of the Comnenian age.
