★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was soo good that we went here twice during our stay in positano . Fried baby squid is a must try . The portions are decent they could have improved on that - w.r.to the price . Nice ambience , nice view of the beach . Check the place out at least once ?.

Check Black is been a really success since its opening in 1949. Very wide options of wine, Mediterranean food and best Buffalo Mozarella I've tasted.

wasn't super happy with my meal but I would still come back because of a great atmosphere and location.
The interior has a unique boat style design.
In addition, every plate is unique in this place with a cartoonish painting on the plate.

The pastas are phenomenal (black ink, lobster, sea urchin) and the selection of wines and sparkling wines is great.
The fish is great and fresh and the experience overall was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost didn’t stop by because it felt like a tourist trap being so close to the shore and so many tables. But so happy we did - the service is amazing, the fried shrimp and squid was some of the best seafood, and tried cuttlefish for the first time (which was outstanding). Desserts were good too (chocolate tort and lemon delight).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant by the beach of Positano the place is swarming with people but it’s good to overlook the beach sitting in this restaurant. We had dessert and dinner on two separate occasions. The dinner is just amazing. Best food we have had in Positano. I completely recommend the Milanese veal cutlet and the spaghetti. We also had the mixed salad was yum. Service is fast and people are friendly. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and serve you great delicious food. Completely recommend for many many reasons .
