 Unexpected Altamura! I knew it for its famous bread, but I was presented with a very pretty medieval town with a vitality that rivals the most renowned seaside resorts! Beautiful, full of people from shops, history, life in short.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meraviglioso Borgo medievale, con la splendida cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, costruita da Federico II di Svevia. Passeggiare tra le strette vie e osservare i claustri antichi ancora oggi molto caratteristici, è un sano passatempo per dimenticare lo stress della quotidianità!!!
Wonderful medieval village, with the splendid cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, built by Frederick II of Swabia. Walking through the narrow streets and observing the ancient cloisters still very characteristic today, is a healthy pastime to forget the stress of everyday life !!!
