When I was walking around it felt as if I had died and gone to heaven; the decadent decor and frescos really transport you to an alternate reality

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Educational experience by our guide, who was actually leading an Italian speaking group but helpfully added some moments jn English just for us. We joined the tour at the last moment, but from even at the car park all the way to the end of the tour we never felt left out or neglected. Hospitality and a glimpse of the aristocracy all rolled into one.
