È imponente e copre quasi per intero la parte ovest del borgo, è stato edificato in vari anni, raggruppando 3 edifici divisi fra loro, prende il nome di Panniloni dal nome dell'ultima famiglia proprietaria del castello e delle terre del paese.
? È visitabile solo attraverso l'entrata al Museo del Tartufo delle Crete Senesi che è ospitato al suo interno, oltre agli uffici comunali;
⛪ Nel borgo è visitabile anche la piccola Pieve di San Giovanni Battista.
?The Pannilini Castle or also known as the Castle of San Giovanni d'Asso, is the largest and most impressive structure in the entire Borgo di San Giovanni, located on the hill and visible from the arrival roads to the town.
It is imposing and covers almost the entire western part of the village, it was built over several years, grouping 3 buildings divided between them, it takes the name of Panniloni from the name of the last family that owned the castle and the lands of the town.
? It can be visited only through the entrance to the Truffle Museum of the Crete Senesi which is housed inside, in addition to the municipal offices;
⛪ The small parish church of San Giovanni Battista can also be visited in the village.
