All'interno del Castello come in altri luoghi, troviamo anche salse al tartufo,burro ecc...
The village is pleasant during the truffle event we can eat in different places Tuscan cuisine accompanied by extra truffle we can buy the white truffle
Inside the Castle as in other places, we also find truffle sauces, butter etc ...

On the occasion of the truffle market exhibition we spent a weekend in the Crete Senesi and arrived in San Giovanni d'Asso, a very cute little town that deserves to be visited even without the truffle exhibition. Truffles are wonderful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum website advertises this to be opened at various hours from Thursday to Sunday at this time of the year. It is not. An official, today, told us to come back Sunday. Why? We have been back every single day that is says it is to be open for two weeks, and no one has bothered to open it. Please fix the website to let people know that it is rarely open, even when it says it is to be. Poor service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure if due to COVID and the lack of tourists, but this place felt like totally uncared for. Most of the video projections did not work. There is supposed to be a sensory “game” that didn’t work neither. There seems to be an exhibition on the city but everything is in Italian… so no clue if it is good or not.
In terms of content, the Wikipedia page of truffle offers more than this museum.
It was not expensive (5€) and yet disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ According to the website (and a sign in front of the museum) , the museum should be open on saturday from 10h30. We arrived 11h15 and it was completely closed and abandoned! I tried calling and no one picked up. A real shame! :(
