★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa parrocchiale dei Santi Pietro e Paolo fu probabilmente fondata nel 1103, come attesta una pietra posta sul lato sinistro della facciata. Ricostruita nel XIV secolo, fu completamente ristrutturata tra il 1702 e il 1705. La facciata in laterizio ed elementi in travertino è del 1723, mentre il campanile fu interamente rifatto all'inizio del 1800. Negli anni la chiesa si arricchì di numerose opere d'arte, oggi esposte nel vicino museo di arte sacra. La facciata presenta uno stile barocco senese. L'interno è interamente intonacato e presenta lo stile eclettico tipico del Settecento. Dell'arredo originario restano oggi nella chiesa poche opere.
Nella chiesa si trova un bellissimo organo a canne del 1845 a trasmissione meccanica. Interessante una visita.
The parish church of Saints Peter and Paul was probably founded in 1103, as evidenced by a stone placed on the left side of the facade. Rebuilt in the 14th century, it was completely restored between 1702 and 1705. The brick façade and travertine elements date back to 1723, while the bell tower was completely rebuilt in the early 1800s. Over the years the church was enriched by numerous works of art. art, now exhibited in the nearby museum of sacred art. The façade has a Sienese baroque style. The entire interior is plastered and has the typical eclectic style of the eighteenth century. Few works remain today in the church.
In the church is a beautiful mechanical transmission organ of 1845 reeds. Interesting a visit.
