We took a tour and a tasting---our guide was very knowledgable and friendly, and the wine was incredible. We never felt rushed, and had great conversations. Would highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our tour in this winery. Our tour guide was very friendly, but also very professional. He provided good commentary and also answered every our question. There is great setting with beautiful view on their vineyard. Taste of wine and oil was great and prices very reasonable. We left fully loaded. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wrote two days in advance to arrange a tasting and they never wrote back. We tried showing up and were told they couldn’t find our email and nothing could be done. We were walking the Via Francigena and had come all the way from California. Very rude and disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing experience, we did the wine tasting tour with snacks and we loved it. Filippo was our expert guide and we enjoyed our time and tasting a lot. The winery is beautiful, with incredible viewpoints and the wine is delicious (we bought some bottles). Totally recommend it, thanks Filippo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so excited about visiting this winery.. The road to Altesino was just as I imagined, the perfect Tuscany postcard. But our experience with the staff wasn't that good. We asked for a tour but since we didn't have a reservation (we were on a roadtrip), they said it wasn't possible, we respected that. Then we asked if they had a shop where we could taste and buy some wine. The lady told us she was busy at that moment but she showed us three or four Brunellos. We had to choose quickly, we choose a 2014 Brunello (31€) and we left without even try it!
After a while we decided to open the wine and we found out it was a 2015 Brunello. I remember the lady mentioning that 2015 wasn't a good year and the wine doesn't taste that good. Well.. it didn't taste good. I sent a message to the them but they never replied. What a pity..
